ENTRY DEADLINE
30 Under 30 Application
We are looking for the top 30 rising stars under the age of 30, currently working in Consumer Magazine and Business Media companies in the UK.
We encourage a diverse range of entries from those in all job functions including marketing, editorial, data analytics, product development, creative design, events and more.
Are you or do you work with someone who:- Always strives to exceed the expectations of your team and business
- Is already making a name for themselves and leading the way in your field
- Seeks out new approaches and ways to improve how your business works
- Are often told you’re a pleasure to work with due to your collaborative, positive and proactive nature
…amongst many other stellar qualities.
The PPA 30 Under 30 will be selected by a panel of senior industry figures, who will be looking for evidence of star performers via an online application form.
In your application, you should include:
- A 400-word supporting statement about yourself, your role and examples of how you work hard to deliver for your business
- At least one example of your work (articles you have written/ links to videos of events you have worked on / pitch presentations/ links to websites/ social media screenshots/ anything that will help judges understand and experience your work)
- Either a 200-word written endorsement from your direct manager, or a professional reference if you're a freelancer/don't have a direct manager
- A professional headshot (if you don’t have a pro headshot, please supply a photo of yourself facing the camera with nobody else in shot)
The closing date for all applications is Thursday 11 August 2022.
All applicants must have been born on or after June 30, 1992.

PPA Journalism Student of the Year
This special award recognises the future content creators of our industry, showcasing exceptional work during their studies and displaying promise to be the journalistic talent of tomorrow.
Open to current journalism students or those that have graduated in 2022, of any age range.
Please submit:
- three pieces of original work which can be editorial, audio or video content, published across digital, print or social platforms. It must have been produced within the last academic year, of which at least one piece must be coursework
- a 200-word supporting statement from your course leader
Please note that all entries should only consist of work undertaken/completed as a student, and work undertaken after graduation should not be included.
The closing date for all applications is Thursday 11 August 2022.
It is FREE to enter this category.
Applicants for this award do not have to be under the age of 30.
